Many people have already heard, but our sweet girl went to be with Jesus this morning.

She was peaceful and quiet and in our arms.

When we know any details, we'll pass them on to you. Thank you so much for your prayers and your love for our girl.

  3. My name is Rebecca (melissa arroyo's sister) and I have been following your blog for some time now...I am deeply saddened to hear of your loss. Mere words cannot remove the devastating pain that you and your family are feeling but we are praying for you at this difficult time.

    Psalm 46:1-2
God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea.

  10. Jen,
There are no words to express the deep sympathy, love, and sadness we are feeling today for your loss. She was such a beautiful treasure and our hearts break with yours at her passing. She has met our wonderful and loving God, and while the hurt remains, there is joy in knowing she is in His loving arms. We love you, and we're here, in any way we can be for you.

Though you weep at the loss of such a precious gift know that she is at peace. You are such an amazing set of parents and you showed such faith these months as you cared for her and loved her. 14. Praying for your sweet family, and though sad precious Lydia is no longer on this Earth, I have to smile to know when she closed her eyes here, she opened them and the first thing she saw was the face of Jesus and now she is healed and perfectly whole in His presence.

  15. Jan and I celebrate her life, and now her healing. You have been tender and amazing parents. You are at the heart of many prayers of friends and family, and even "strangers" from around the world. We will continue to hold you and and your families before the throne of our Lord as you miss holding your sweet girl.

  16. Jen, I have followed Lydia's life through your cousin Tina and I feel like I've known her for these past 8 months. She is a beautiful baby and now that she is with Jesus, she will watch over you, her daddy and all her family and friends in the garden of angels. May the comfort and the strength of the Lord be with you all. Love, Aunt Dawn

  24. Jen and Micah,

Thank you for being an amazing gift to me. Through the past months you have taught me many things not the least of which are how to love more deeply and pray more sincerely.

I am praying for you all to find the comfort and strength that you will need to walk the road that is ahead of you. I am resting in God's word that you will see her again. You have not lost her...you know exactly where she is. She is with Him, rejoicing and singing with the angels!

My love to you and your amazing family!

  26. Jen and Micah,
I've been following and reading and praying for some time now. There are no words. There is only love.

1 Corinthians 13:13 And now, these three remain: faith, hope, and love. But, the greatest of these is love.

With so much love for you and your lovely daughter.

Although Lydia is now gone, so is her pain, and your pain, and time to think of the love and joy that so many shared through the journey. She will be remembered for touching the hearts of those that met her, and those that were linked through your regular loving messages.

  28. Jen and Micah,
Thinking of you. I have no words. I will compose myself later and write...but for now know that I have been where you are...and I made it. I loved Lydia even though I never met her and I know she was met in heaven by my girls. Oh how I long for heaven and our Lord who created it. These are hard days friends. My prayers are with you day and night.
